The Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association endorsed Westchester Legislator Francis Corcoran for re-election.
As election day approaches, the Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association (WHLEA) has endorsed Legislator Francis Corcoran for re-election. WHLEA is a non-for profit organization created to inspire, support, foster and realize leadership in the law enforcement community of Westchester County.
"I'm proud to carry the endorsement of some of Westchester's finest, and boldest," Legislator Corcoran said. "The men and women who live and work in Westchester serving in law enforcement and corrections deserve our full support each and every day. I will continue to partner with WHLEA to keep our communities safe for all our residents and ensure they have the resources they need to protect and serve us."
Corcoran has a long history working with Law Enforcement, since serving as liasion to the Bedford Police Department while serving on the town board. He later served on the civilian committee as a police commissioner.
In its endorsement, WHLEA recognized how Corcoran has continued his work as Westchester County Legislator to ensure that Law Enforcement has the proper resources, support, and direction to keep Westchester safe. Hector Lopez, president of WHLEA, said, “We look forward to working together with Legislator Corcoran and continuing to develop our positive relationship."
Corcoran has also been endorsed by Westchester Troopers PBA, Teamsters Local 456, Westchester Correctional Superior Officers Association, Westchester APA and New York League of Conservation Voters.
